NetGear MA101 Help

How can I get my other PC using kubuntu to use the MA101 connected to it?

It sees the Card as wlan0 its Enabled and is a wireless network device. I dont get any ip address at all.

Being a newbie need all the help i can get.

Oh and as its not connected to the net cant exactly cut/past the info about it sorry

Oh its a Rev B MA101 if that helps

what is the output of iwconfig? does the card come up there as well? if it does, try this:

Go to K -> Internet -> Wireless Assistant and click on your network.
Enter the key.

Try accessing the internet again.

As far as I know, the wireless router needs to be set to use WEP encyption. I couldn't get WPA to work. I also use 128 bit ASCII Encryption with a Shared Key (not passphrase) on my router (if you do that aswell, remember to mark the ASCII button in WA).
