    Slow computer Problems

Hey, I'm fairly new to Linux and I wanted to install Kubuntu on an old Dell Pentium III with 128MB. I ordered a live CD from ShipIt (I have Dial-up) and have not been able to get it to load correctly. I tried selecting Safe grphics mode but that didn't work either. I just completely reformatted my 7 gig HD to wipe Win98SE and other crap off it. The Live CD takes a LONG time to load (I have dial-up, I know what a LONG time is) and when I click the install icon, nothing happens (I left it running all night...nothing).

I think it's because I don't have enough RAM. Is there a way I can install Kubuntu without going through the LIVE CD?

    Thanks for any help

Yes, at 128Mb, you do not have enough RAM.

You will need a minimum of 256Mb.

You might be able to load Kubuntu, but it won't run satisfactorily unless you can increase your RAM.
