[Errors] Error-KTorrent Malformed URL /home/c/Downloads/neon-user-20210527-0944.iso.torrent

Hi! I downloaded kubuntu to pay it forward, and ktorrent was working.

Then I tried to download Neon and Easy OS torrents, and something happened, and my computer restarted. I ended up deleting the partially downloaded files not knowing what I'm doing.

Now I'm getting the error:

Error-KTorrent
Malformed URL /home/c/Downloads/neon-user-20210527-0944.iso.torrent

and KTorrent won't open.

Can someone please tell me how to fix what I did? Thank you in advance.

Update: tried

killall ktorrent

from a suggestion from another forum. It asked if I wanted to recreate the file. Now it won't open again, but the file shows in my downloads. We'll see what happens...

Solved it! Was able to open the ktorrent window through the Status and Notifications, and then deleting the broken torrents made it work normally again.
