it looks like wine32 is missing, you should install it.

Have you tried using Lutris to install it, it uses installer scripts specific to games?

How have you installed Wine itself? This cover both 64 bit and 32 bit applications, so if you onluy installed say the 'wine64' package you probably are missing a lot of components.

but, yeah Lutris is helpful, and Playonlinux is as well, and may be slightly easier to use,

And another useful thing to try is to follow these instructions to upgrade to a more modern iteration of Wine:
      https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu.

You have not specified which version of Kubuntu you are running, but I will guess you need to enable 32 bit package support, as mentioned in the link above:
      Code:
      sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
, then installing wine instead of just wine32

It seems that I just installed 64 bit.

Don't they use wine as a substrate. What they do?

Thanks I might try that later.

But my problem now is how to run the game which I installed. My wine does not run the game since it seems that wine32 is needed. I guess even if I install the game via Lutris then I was not able to play the game.

By the way, I tried to install wineHQ but I get the following error:

How you would use it is that you would install the game again using Lutris and Lutris would configure wine during your install so that you don't have problems. Lutris uses install scripts made by people who got the game working on their system.

What I do when I run into Wine problems (pretty much every time I install it) is, uninstall it, and try another method.
The Wine HQ one usually does it on the second or third try.
The good bit is that if you don't remove (or restore) the .wine directory in your /home, it keeps all your stuff, and I never had any problems with that.

I found this link that asks to install wineHQ before Lutris.
