    [Errors] Desktop effects stopped working

    Hello.

My desktop effects stopped working. I have not installed new ones. I read somewhere that it may be related to KWin, but I am a beginner and very poorly versed in Linux. I especially need the zoom, which also stopped working.

Your kernel and driver are correct. you should be able to enable desktop effects.

Go to system settings > Hardware > display monitor > compositor

Make sure compositor is enable at startup.

Make sure backend is set to the lowest Open GL available.
