[Multimedia] Blu Ray Film Authoring.

hi all i have some home videos in various formats mkv avi mp4, and id like to pop them on a blu ray disk for my folks, whats the best way to go about this?

googled and all the results was from 2015 and they wasn't anything promising hopefully things have progressed since then.

What's a blue ray?

That info from 2015 is probably still valid today.

k3b should be able to burn the disk, but what is probably needed is something to create the blu ray disk structure. I don't quickly see any programs for this that still exist as of 18.04 or later

If your parents happen to have a modern smart TV, or a streaming box (roku etc) a simple usb stick with the files should Just Work.
