[System] A question about Sleep mode and corrupted graphics in a new install of Kubuntu.

Hello,

I'm new to Linux and Kubuntu and have a fresh install updated using nvidia drivers. I'm wondering if it's dangerous in anyway if graphics corrupt when the computer has been in "sleep" mode and if there is a generic solution to fix this? I've tried searching the forums but the threads I found were specific to the original posters problems and didn't really guide me in anyway.

What version you using? What kernel? What GPU?

GPU lockups are frequent, and we can troubleshoot them.
