How to decrypt a single ecryptfs file that was recovered

Decided to use ecryptfs to encrypt my home folder. had a brain fart and deleted a file i shouldn't. immediately booted off a live USB and used photorec to recover a ton of ecryptfs encrypted files to an external drive, and based on file sizes it can be only one of the recovered files that i'm looking for.

Only problem is, I have NO idea how to decrypt a single file and now i'm really regretting even trying out ecryptfs to being with LOL

Anyone have any suggestions? the system i did the accidental delete from is fully functional.

This may be old, but should be valid, and the program -extundelete - is in the Ubuntu repos, so no compiling needed/
There may be more recent how-tos, but I did not find any that combine both the program and the encryption part
