[Installation] Help me - what do I do to resolve this error message?

When attempting to install Kubuntu 18.04.2 I received the following error message.
    /target/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/qml/QtQuick/Dialogs/Private/libdialogsprivateplugin.so

The message includes the text that this is often due to a faulty CD/DVD disk or drive, or a faulty hard disk... I've used this USB, and ran a scan/repair in Windows on it and it's fine.

Background information: I made an iso disk image using unetbootin on a 16 GB USB drive and installing this on my desktop. Components include ASRock AB350 Pro4, Ultra M.2 256 GB SSD, Ryzen AMD 1700x, GE Force GTX 1050 graphics card, and 32 GB 3200 Ram.

What do I need to do to resolve this error? Thanks in advance for your help.

Try a different tool to make the usb stick -Unetbootin in my recent experience has been very unreliable with Ubuntu ISO images.
Etcher is a reliable one, and is easy to use.
    https://www.balena.io/etcher/

There are others, such as mkusb on linux, as well as Rufus for Windows.

Thanks Claydoh. I created an ISO image using balena and made it through the install... until I received this error message: [Errno 5] Input/output error. Error text message was similar to the last - "often due to a faulty CD/DVD disk or drive..." Can my USB drive be the issue??
