Hello everyone,
I am on an acer laptop with an MX150 gpu. I installed Kubuntu 18.04 (details below) recently. When I tried to check the available drivers for the gpu with
ubuntu-drivers list
it lists :
nvidia-driver-390
nvidia-driver-410
nvidia-driver-430
nvidia-driver-396
nvidia-driver-418
nvidia-driver-415
The driver manager setting says 430 is recommended (I am on 390.116 now) , but when I install that driver, Kubuntu starts complaining. I am unable to shutdown (crash), open the settings (crash) or do anything basically.
Can someone help me with this? I would like to be able to use 430 in order to work with Tensorflow, although I am unsure about the performance gain with using an MX150 :P
Thanks a lot,
Have a nice day.
