hello, I recently installed kubuntu alongside my windows 7 but i am facing an issue that is very annoying. the problem is that when i boot into kubuntu the screen is black for a little bit then the screen goes completly off i can't see anything then but what i do is that i wait untill i feel that kubuntu has booted to the login manager and then i suspend the machine. and after that i turn it back on again and then the screen is on. but its very annoying i have to wait for a couple of minutes and then suspend my laptop then unsuspend it in order to get the screen working, Can anyone help me solve this problem?. help would be greatly appreciated.
also this problem doesn't happen all the time it happens by 98%
