Window/GUI question

I have posted a similar thread here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=256291
but, have not received any responses.

Has anyone in this fourm experienced trails when dragging windows? (like I mention in the above link)
It is just really annoying more than anything I have got to believe that it's not supposed to do that right?

Any tips, hints or suggestions?

Mine does it too - I assumed it was a feature!

If there has ever been an annoying "feature" it's this one.

Gettng ready to remove this and put a good reliable Windows install back on....

I am a newbie and although I have played very occasionally with Linux in the past, circumstances forced me to use it recently. I must say I don't miss XP that much for these main reasons...

- I am a heavy user (work and play) and I found XP runs worse over time, which Kubuntu has not.
- Not having to worry about viruses, worms, trojans and other assorted security issues.
- All the free software you could ever want.
- A friendly and helpful community at this forum.
