[Development] The Right XP-Pen graphic tablet for Gimp/Linux

    Hello guys.
I'm planning to buy a XP-Pen tablet to use in Gimp/Linux . It's my first experience.I can't afford for the pricier Artist display tablets.
I don't want to invest in a beginner tablet and change it after 8 or 10 month of use due to some limitations, but also i don't want to buy a pro-level one and never use 50% of her funtionnality. What i really need is a well made tablet that will fit the standard photographers needs in photoshop.
    I'm thinking know about 2 tablets :
    - XP-Pen DECO 03 10" x 5.26" with wireless module ( https://www.xp-pen.com/goods/show/id/314.html )
    - XP-Pen Star G640S 6 x 3.75-inch active area ( https://www.xp-pen.com/goods/show/id/371.html )
Both of the drawing tablet have 5080 LPI, 266 RPS, 8192 Levels.
If the better choice for a photographer is the DECO 03 , what are reasons.
If you have any other recommendations, plaise tell it to me.
    Thank you

That stuck out like a sore thumb. The OP is a stealth ad.

My god, no!!!! They've won now.

Seriously, what ad? All I posted was the system compatibility info, which does not include the SPAMMER's target audience. Us.

Sigh. Yes, questions, answers, or comments are automatically removed @AU (and other SE sites) if a few members flag such items. It was up at the time I posted the link. Cross-posting, asking the same thing in various forums, never mind the relevance, can be a negative sign.

Not coming back after starting a thread isn't particularly healthy either.

Okay. But I'm curious now, what did the stuff that got removed say? Do the tablets actually work under 18.04(or earlier I just say 18.04 cause that's what I use)?

To repeat myself, useless for the subject of this forum.

Of course a lot of hardware is primarily build with these two OS'es in mind but no manufacturer with any economical sense is going to hide it when their product is able to run on Linux.
                              Such hostility.

I did indeed post the screenshots in question. Might help people to know that they aren't Linux compatible.
