In Advanced Power Settings for my laptop, I set the battery charge limit to 80%. I have to enter my password to apply the change, and it succeeds. Then, every time I reboot (and sometimes when the puter wakes from sleep), the charge limit setting has spontaneously reverted to 100%. It happens after both update reboots and "ordinary" reboots.
Any ideas what's wrong and how to fix it?
