    [Installation] Drivers for Acer AspireONE

    Hello.
I am writing because I have a problem with drivers for my little ACER AspireOne.
I am a new user of KUBUNTU and I do not really know where and how to download drivers. I will be grateful for your help.

    Acer Aspire One D260.

For 98% of things, all drivers are included in the kernel already, the remaining 2% are installed using a package manager or the command line
You might want to describe the problems you are seeing, as the hardware on that should be well supported, driver wise.

I imagine most problems are due to the age and extremely meager amount of ram and cpu on that 8+ year old netbook.
Most modern Linux desktops require a bare minimum of 2gb ram, but they still run poorly as soon as you open a web browser. 4gb is the useable minimum.
Without knowing your specific problems, I will recommend looking for a lightweight version of Linux, such as Lubuntu or Linux Lite, or some other Lightweight-focuses distro.

      Drivers for Acer AspireONE

My wife uses an Acer AspireONE (D520, IIRC) to browse and email. It has been running Kubuntu 9.04 since I gave it to her as an Xmas present in 2010. I haven't upgraded to a more recent version of Kubuntu because it is almost 3 computer generations old and is probably sliding out of the window of compatibility.
