Kazam not working. Just a black screen

hello everyone. I'm back with a different question. Essentially kazam is not working. When i select screen capture and i save the file all i get is a black screen with a white mouse pointer. Is there any other app i can use for screen capturing?

I just tried VLC but again I'm just getting a Black screen.

Ok after reading up i found an app called Kooha. It works just fine but it's a little lightweight as far as settings go.

Kazam does not work for me too. I can not save the file generated. In my case i did not get a black screen, instead it froze the screen. Maybe a problem with 24.04 Kubuntu ( Ubuntu ) version.
