Why doesn't any of the themes from KDE Store doesn't work on Kubuntu 18.04.0 LTS?

    Why doesn't any of the themes from KDE Store doesn't work on Kubuntu 18.04.0 LTS?

    Hello Everyone,

    I have installed OCS Store - https://www.opendesktop.org/p/1175480/ and then installed some themes from https://store.kde.org/

    I see they are downloaded and present in the themes folder but they don't show up in the settings to apply.

    Can anyone explain why this is happening and how to solve the issue?

    Most likely because most/many of the Themes there are written for KDE4.
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.
    Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

      Do you mean KDE Version 4? I don't think Kubuntu runs KDE Version 4 ... forgive me if I am wrong ...

        Kubuntu does not run KDE4; hasn't for some time now.
        Windows no longer obstructs my view.

          The store has a LOT of outdated or broken or maintained stuff that their individual creators have left behind or can't/won't fix. People are attempting to rectify this so end-users don't have such a bad experience in the future.
