Hi people! I'm not quite sure if this is the right place to post it but i figured Newbie was pretty close. Long story short, i had 6 USB drives that i had pretty much given up on. Any way i was looking at one of them and it looked pretty grubby. I just so happened to get an emery board from my mother today, so i figured i'd give it a quick rub, guess what.... the drive works just fine now, so do the other 5 , oh and i rescued a wifi adapter with the same technique
