Kubuntu 24.10 Beta - keyboard layout problem

    Kubuntu 24.10 Beta
    Virtualbox 7.0.14

During the installation, I selected Slovak keyboard layout.
After the first boot, keyboard layout is set to English and there is no other layout.
I add Slovak layout again, reboot, and again, there is only English layout.

    I also got an notification:
Fcitx should be launched by KWin under KDE Wayland in order to use Wayland input method frontend. This can improve the experience when using Fcitx on Wayland. To configure this, you need to go to "System Settings" -> "Virtual keyboard" and select "Fcitx 5" from it. You may also need to disable tools that launches input method, such as imsettings on Fedora, or im-config on Debian/Ubuntu. For more details see https://fcitx-im.org/wiki/Using_Fcitx_5 … KDE_Plasma
I was able to solve it in 2 ways:

    1.
    Code:
    im-config
with option "do not set any IM from im-config and use desktop default", then disabling Fcitx 5 in virtual keyboard.
    2. Setting Virtual keyboard to Fcitx 5 Wayland Launcher and add Slovak keyboard layout using Fcitx 5

Which of this two solutions is the correct one?
Is this an expected behavior in 24.10 or did I something wrong during an installation?

Thanks, that helped. Selected 'None' under Virtual Keyboard, and "do not activate any IM from im-config and use desktop default" in the im-config selection.
