    No way to play

I play World of Warcraft. I have it loaded on my Admin account and it plays just fine. But I can't install or play as a 'Standard' user. Is there any way around this?

    More details:
    What Kubuntu release?

What do you mean by 'admin' and 'standard', specifically (just for clarity's sake)?

How did you install it?(There are different methods and tools.) Personally, I am a fan of using Lutris via Flatpak for this, but it has been some time (over a year??) since I installed WoW to demonstrate that is is a fairly simple process, compared to the hoops and jumps and fire rings one used to need to do no too long ago, and still might be needed without helpers.

Where did you install it to? (file/directory ownership and permissions)

What happens when you try installing it as a non-sudo user? Message? Errors?

Did you use sudo to install it when logged in as your sudo account??

Installing games will put the files in your user's home directory, usually. There shouldn't be any reason why a "regular" user can't install a game, even using Lutris, Bottles, etc.
And because files will be installed to that user's account, there is no reason to to use sudo or be logged in with the account created when you installed Linux (which has sudo privileges by default).
Your "admin' account IS a normal user, it just is allowed sudo privileges as needed.

Now, there is nothing bad about having multiple accounts, it is neutral. If you are the only user, there really isn't a reason to have separate accounts on a desktop system.

Now, if you went ahead and enabled the 'root' account, well that is not supported, and has been known to have strange side effects. You will be on your own, here.
