Having a problem when watching long YouTube videos. My monitor is going to sleep. I don't see any setting to toggle this behaviour. It's good that the monitor would sleep, but it shouldn't happen when watching a video, right? I'm watching YouTube in the Firefox flatpak app. I don't recall this happening with the previous snap installation.

FF *should* report to the OS/Plasma that it is playing a video, even if it isn't full-screen iirc. Not sure if this issue you see is flatpak thing or not.
I see it sometimes in the deb packages for the browser, but not when playing a movie using a video player.
But you can toggle this off/on from the battery or Power Management icon in your system tray if it is acting up.

The monitor itself has settings. Have you examined those for inactivity/sleep conditions?Windows no longer obstructs my view.

I like this functionality for normal use, but I don't want it to happen when I watch videos.

Are you using Plasma (Wayland) or Plasma (X11) when you login to the Desktop? I would see if using the 'other' has any effect.Windows no longer obstructs my view.
