[SOLVED] Cant watch some online videos

Hello Everyone!
Just installed Kubuntu, loving it, but I'm trying to watch some streams online that are not working, the videos just show an error saying it can't be loaded. In Youtube some videos work, others don't, but my main problem is the streaming where I watch my series =] ...is mercadoplay, I'm think it might not work worldwide (I'm in Brazil). I tried other browsers, I use most Opera, but tried Firefox and other few from discovery list, I also tried installing codecs, and to install Opera in a bottle but the installation just frozen every time.

It is hard to know without more information about your system. In Firefox, settings, general, there is a "Play DRM content" that I check when I have had trouble with videos playing.

I'm from Brasil too. I am on Kubuntu 24.04 LTS version and can confirm that i can watch the series from mercado play. No problem at all. Maybe your problem lies in codecs or some kind of config on your browser. I have been using Firefox snap version.

Edit: The suggestion from TinyTim is related to your problem. When i disable the DRM settings in firefox it is unable to play the movies. Check your drm settings in your browser.
