I would like to use Suspend2 and am using Dapper Drake with kernel 2.6.15-26-386. Do I need to compile a new kernel or just apply patches (or neither?).
Thanks
I thought it was enabled by default, or maybe it's not suspend2 which is used. Anyway, you should check in the folder /etc/acpi
You will find scripts like hibernate.sh (run as root) to hibernate your computer.
Otherwise if you want to get suspend2 to run you should download the source of the kernel from repos and apply patch of suspend2 over it, then recompile and install.
