How do I install MEGA on Linux?
(K)ubuntu 24.04 LTS has not even been released yet and is still being worked on!
Don't expect any third-party software to be ready for (K)ubuntu 24.04 LTS before release (how could it?!?) or directly after its release.
What can you do?
Wait until MEGA officially supports (K)ubuntu 24.04 LTS - perhaps write to them and tell them about your issues/bugs…Last edited by Schwarzer Kater; Apr 22, 2024, 12:16 PM.Debian KDE & LXQt • Kubuntu & Lubuntu • openSUSE KDE • Windows • macOS X

get rid of Snap script (20.04 +) • reinstall Snap for release-upgrade script (20.04 +)
install traditional Firefox script (22.04 +) • install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04)

The single (from what I find at here) dependency package that can't be satisfied; can't be installed; in 24.04 is libqt5quick5-gles. It was last available in 22.04. So, you need to contact the package maintainer: MEGA Linux Team (linux@mega.co.nz) about this, as they have a download package for Ubuntu 24.04, but as you've found out, and I've confirmed, without this dependent package, it won't install in Kubuntu 24.04.Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Will see how this goes, as I'm forced to upload a LOT of stuff through Firefox (no add-on of sorts) and it's ultra slow *sigh*
