Connect to wifi and internet connection on kubuntu

How to connect to wifi on the latest Kubuntu? I can't see anything on the dialog box of available wireless devices. I tried to make a profile but it didn't work too. This is the first time I am using it and I should add I am impressed by kubuntu. But there aren't enough solutions to problems on most places.

you need to let us know the computer type you have and at least the wireless chip info ,,,,,,

open a console (terminal)and type

lspci -k

find the section about "Network controller:" and copy and paste it hear .

+ wile your in the console post the output of

rfkill list

as well.

What are the specs of your PC? Open a konsole and type: lspci and copy/paste the output in a reply.
