    [Installation] Unable to install Kubuntu or any other distro on PC

    Windows is installed on following PC, but Linux install fails. I have tried multiple distros, all of the installers have stucked on logo screen.

    Intel Pentium E5200 @ 2.50GHz

    get rid of Snap script (20.04 +)reinstall Snap for release-upgrade script (20.04 +)
    install traditional Firefox script (22.04 +)​ • install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04)

      I have selected "select the option "Add fixes for old BIOSes" option, but it doesn't fixed it.

        Maybe you're hitting BIOS vs UEFI problems. Is the present Windows install BIOS/MBR? How did you make the USB stick?

          I ran into problems installing certain distris and mentioned later that the reason seems to have been the MBR formated drive they did not like because after installing them on a gpt formated drive it suddenly worked. Although Kub was one of the distris that worked on the mbr drive.
