[Other] Hello all, I am new to Kubuntu 20.04

I was supprised as to how fast Kubuntu is and how very easy it is to use.

My only question at this time is about the file icons shown in Dolphin.
Is there a way to make just the icons smaller and keep the text size as it is?
Or is there a way to not show the icons?

The icons take up to much space causing the text lines to be unnecessarily spaced.
On a small screen not many files are show.
    Kudos to the Kubuntu developers.

    Welcome to KFN!

Open Dolphin. Click on Settings > Configure Dolphin... > View Modes. There, you can change the Default and Preview icon size. You can also change the font used.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.

In any view mode, you can also resize the icons on-the-fly with CRTL-Mouse wheel.

Clicking the "Show Previews" button on the menu bar will toggle the file icons on/off.
