    On screen volumn notification

You know when you adjust the volume with the keyboard how that big square image of a speaker pops up right in the middle of the screen? Is there a way to make it either not pop up or move it to a corner instead of in the middle? Or maybe be smaller? And still be able to adjust the volume with the keyboard? It's very annoying to adjust the volume during a video and have that huge thing pop up and obscure part of the video each time. Kubuntu 17.04

    KDE System Settings

The user can disable the OSD from the KDE system Settings > Desktop Behavior > Workspace - 'Visual feedback for status changes'

    Direct - Konsole:
    Code:
    kcmshell5 workspaceoptions
    Added about a year ago:
    - [OSD] Allow disabling OSD through config file: https://phabricator.kde.org/D1770
    - [Workspace Options] Add option to disable OSD: https://phabricator.kde.org/D1771

    OSD placement & outlook

The OSD is part of the Plasma Look and Feel themes.

The placement and the outlook is set at the look and feel qml code ( ../share/plasma/look-and-feel/<name>/contents/osd/...)
