Hi everyone!
I have a mx master 2 mouse, I was able to configure it via logiops, I followed this tuto and modified the conf to fit my needs.
I recently upgraded to plasma 2.5 to install new plasmoid only compatible in 2.5 minimum.
The upgrade went pretty well, I didn't have any important failure.
Only, I wanted to change a little the look of my desktop, installation of latte-dock and installation of this configuration.
It is from here that I started to have a recurring and really unpleasant bug.
The preconfigured movements for the mouse are not activated anymore and this creates a strange behavior on the desktop.
If I activate the thumb button to do an alt+tab the mouse doesn't move anymore, then the control comes back at a random time, then the command that was programmed on the button repeats several times without me touching a button.
It's as if the system considered that I was still pressing the button to know if I was making another movement with the mouse and therefore the shortcut adapted to it.
Once the bug happens once, it repeats itself in a completely random way and it doesn't matter if I press a shortcut or not. I have the impression that every action of the mouse can trigger this bug, it happens to me with the scroll, a click or simple movement.
I tried to see where it could come from but I found nothing conclusive, I uninstalled latte-dock, some components, stopped the logid service, nothing to do
I have logs that come back from kwin_x11 and that come back every time the bug happens
this is the only track I could find, really I can't find more info where this bug comes from
If someone could help me out of this situation
