    Exploring Dolphin services

New to Kubuntu. While exploring Dolphin I found that in its settings I can add new Dolphin services. Using Dolphin, I installed "Dolphin Folder Color". Unfortunately I can't see it in the Dolphin's menu system. How does one use (or activate) a new service.

Looks like you will need to download the archive from it's page on store.kde.org, extract that, and run the install.sh script.

Not all things via the store/knewstuff are installable via the built in tools, and knewstuff is still do dumb too tell you!

IMO, one of the coolest things about Dolphin is that you can write and activate your own servicemenus. I made ones for thing I do regularly like convert audio files and verify checksums on ISOs. It's great to have control over your system.

Thanks acheron, I just completed that action and the installation went very well. oshunluvr suggests that I could write my own. Well, I'm not there yet. Then again, anything can be learned. Will mark this thread as solved.
