Can't install network printer

If your printer only supports wireless connection on 2.4 GHz bands and your wireless network is only broadcasting 5 GHz, that could be the problem?

My WiFi has both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz.
And the printer & computers communicate when using Windoze.
