Inbox column is missing when I open Kmail.

Recently I notice that the column on the left of my Kmail open page no longer has choices like Inbox, Outgoing, Sent mail, etc., is this a permanent configuration.

Sometimes I like to review a previously sent email and am unable to do so. Is this just a configuration problem?
