Kubuntu 17.04 question on upgrading?

In Ubuntu there is a preference you can set to notify when it's possible to upgrade to the next stable release.

In Kubuntu, do you get that same notification of a new Kubuntu release? Is there a setting to be notified that I have missed when 17.04 becomes available in April?

In Muon Package Manager (if you don't have it installed, open a konsole and type: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install muon) click on Settings > Configure Software Sources and click on the Updates tab. Under Release upgrade > Show new distribution releases: select Normal Releases.
