    Creating keybind to open terminal

Hi, I recently installed Kubuntu and was trying to create a new keybinding which opens up the terminal window when pressing CTRL+ALT+T.

I opened up the custom keybinds windows and created a keybinding called "openKonsole". The comment section was left blank. The trigger shortcut was set to CTRL+ALT+T and the action was set to "Konsole" which didn't work so I later tried "Open Konsole" which also didn't work.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

Please tell us what version of Kubuntu you are running.

Typing in "cat /etc/issue" to the konsole gives the below as output:

      "Ubuntu 16.10 \n \l"

The keybind you wish to set for opening a konsole is already set, just not active.

Click the K Menu icon and launch System Settings. Click on Shortcuts and then on Custom Shortcuts. Use the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom and scroll to the right. Click the box to the right of Examples. Expand Examples and click the box to the right of Run Konsole. Click on Apply. Done.

Hmm, both of the boxes were already checked.

EDIT: Ah, thanks it works now!
