Need help setting up spam control in Kmail.

Source Forge has become such an irritant in my mail system, I want to permanently block them from my computer and email. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

I installed an application called Spamassassin, an app I seem to remember as pretty good. After installing it, the Anti-Spam feature of Kmail recognized it.

I next tried to include SourceForge.net from my mail program. I can not see how to add them to Spamassassin. I would like to block any product or service that is provided through SourceForge.net too, like Manjaro.

I liked Manjaro and used it as an alternate OS, but removed it from my computer because of the spam like presence of Source Forge. I am including this so that Manjaro developers may see how offensive the new SourceForge business practice is.

I intend removing any and all applications served by Source Forge and recommend others to do the same. Take the trouble to let Source Forge clients know what you are doing too. It takes time, but possibly will stop the intrusion. Shab

Don't bother using spam assassin for sourceforge mail. Use a filter on the "FROM" and send their email to the trash.

The filter was what I was looking for. I remember using it years ago, but not for a long time. The only way I could improve on it is to have it automatically delete upon incoming. Thanks my friend. Shab Isn't it something to go for years without needing a filter for unwanted incoming. Long enough to forget the process.

I continue to be amazed by the Windows users clinging to such a problem filled OS. Oh well!

        You're welcome, Shab.
Habits are hard to break and when someone spends years thinking like a Windows user it's hard to reset the mental gears to think like a free person!
