Kubuntu starts Konsole and Discover every time I on my PC

Hi,

I have a problem . Every time, I turn on my PC , Kubuntu opens Konsole and Discover. I don't know why it is happening. I don't put my computer to sleep, I shut down it. What is the problem? It's been happening since I installed Kubuntu (yesterday). Please help me.

I'm not at a KDE machine but this picture should help. You want to start with an empty session rather than saving the previous one.

I always use "Start with an empty session". This will always create a clean startup. If you have a busy day and want to restart your computer with what you had running earlier, you can select "Restore manually saved session". I still find it always best to start with an empty session. I'm not to lazy to start again what I need. However, your needs may differ.

Try the "empty session" and let us know your results.
