    version 14.04.5

    A few questions.

I created four virtual desktops, but that they have not appeared, and also activated the cube, again absent.

Regarding the white background of all Firefox pages, I have tried to change the colour via preferences, but they are still white

I note that the virtual desktops work via the mouse when the wheel is rotated on the background.

Can I also activate them from the bottom pane, as icons?

I would still like to change the background colour of the FF pages, say black print on grey

I found this link a while ago, but did not check the boxes. Once checked, I noted the colour changes.

          Best wishes.

I have added the pager. I would it to the left of the panel. I can see the cross when I point the mouse to the four desktop icons, but when I drag them to the left they flip back to the right

You have to drag it 'past the point you want it' so that what's before it 'moves' to the right. Then you can let go of it and move the mouse pointer up and onto the Desktop and then close the Panel.

Yes, it is now in the desired position.
