    Adept?

I would like to get Adept up and running so I can download some programs, but I can only seem to find applications that are stored on my PC already. How Can I connect to the list from the internet. Apparently I need to do something with Universe?

    Thanks for the help

    Re: Adept?

Make sure the repositories are enabled...the installer disables them if the network is not available when you install.

You can enable repositories from Adept (Manage Repositories), or you can do it manually with:
    Code:
    kdesu kate /etc/apt/sources.list
remove '# 's in front of lines that start with
    Code:
    # deb

        Re: Adept?

In Adept's Manage Repositories, you would just right-click on the appropriate grayed out lines and select Enable.
