    Installed Programmes and Muon

Are all installed programmes, from all sources, automatically registered in Muon as installed packages; or, are only those installed by Muon seen in Muon?

    Thanks

Muon will see software installed from apt and the other package management tools but it will not see software downloaded as a binary or source tarball from the web.

There's only one true answer my friend,
    It's Adam Bloody West!

      Thank you

I assume you mean that software downloaded as a binary, or tarball, and then installed will not be recognised
