Multimedia [Audio] doesn't "see" external speakers

hello,

Bluetooth can communicate with external devices - including my external speakers (Kubuntu 16.04 - Asus ZenBook UX301).

On the other hand, Multimedia (Audio) doesn't allow me to select the external speakers. The option doesn't appear on the menu.

any idea? thanks
