How do I open "analog clock settings" in root?

For some reason, my analog settings have reset themselves with UTC time showing on my widget. I want New York time to appear. In the past, this has happened; I had to uncheck the UTC option to get it to show the correct time.

This time, there seems to be no way to change my selection. The box that usually is present with the check mark is doesn't show. I right-clicked on the UTC option and it said "Whats this?" The explanation was that I need to open in Root to change the settings.

I opened a konsole and entered sudo analog-clock-settings, which was not recognized. I am at a loss at what to do. Thanks for any help? Shab
