Akonadi's greetings every time i boot the PC

    hello there,

I'm using KOrganizer in sync with Google Calendar - in combination with KDE Wallet).

every time I boot the pc a window with the following message pops up - requesting a password:

    KDE Wallet Service

The application "akonadi_googlecalendar_resource_1" has requested to open the wallet"kdewallet". Please enter the password for this wallet below.

What's "akonadi"? how can I get rid of that message? no big deal - just a bit annoying, I guess...

    thanks!

You just have to set a blank password for KWallet.

Changing the Password for a Wallet

If needed, you can change your password for a wallet at any time.

        • Open KWallet Manager and right-click the wallet for which to change the password.
        • Select Change Password.
        • Enter your new password twice. <<< To change to an empty password, just press Enter in both fields.
