Can't change my repositories in synaptic package manager
Hi i'm trying to sort out an issue with synaptic package manager, I am running Kubuntu 16.04 with plasma 5.6.90 and its been giving me a few issues I think because stupidly I added to the repositories in synaptic and it then started telling me that some of them were broke and unsafe etc. I can't seem to get back to the place I was before this by removing these suspect repositories, when I click the settings repositories tab in synaptic it gives me an error message "The repository information has changed. You have to click on the "Reload" button for your changes to take effect." whenI click reload I get the following further error message:

so synaptic won't let me access the list of repositories......how can I get this rectified maybe a Konsole level??
