Hi.
I upgraded from 15.10 to 16.04 on my Laptop (Asus Zenbook UX305 with intel graphics).
I used to use an external Screen, connected via HDMI.
I sometimes experienced problems when connecting or disconnecting the cable, but usally the start of the system settings was enough. If not, going into the screen details and changing anything worked.
Now I do not see an additional monitor at all, no matter when I plug in the cable or when I start the system settings.
I just did a full backup and fresh install of 16.04 and the problem persists.
Google told me, that a few people might have a similar problem in ubuntu, but I found no workaround.
Any idea what I should try or where to look?
Thanks.
Holger
