Kaffeine codecs - no sound

HI, me and my mate have both installed Kubuntu and have found that although we can confirm the sound card works on our respective computers we only get pictures in Kaffeine, no sound!

The voulume control appears muted no matter what we do.

I installed easyubuntu and think it installed a load of codecs but still no sound?

We have Kaffeine 0.7.1 I think that is the number, in XP at the momemt coz I'm at work!!

No joy there!

I tried the win32 codecs and Kmplayer and still no sound

I get perfect picture but no sound?

I have sound now after running this sudo apt-get install libxine-extracodecs
