When I right-click on a feature of the panel, it closes before I can make my choice.

In Kubuntu 16.04, when I right-click on for instance, Unlock Widgets>More Settings, selections appear, however, when I move the cursor into the area of selections to make my choice, the window closes too fast to make the choice.

On occasion, when I open Kmenu>right-click on an application to remove it from the Favorites Tab, the selection window closes before I can choose 'Remove from Favorites'. This window also closes too fast, when I right-click on an application I want to add to the Favorites Menu.

This has also happened on other versions of Kubuntu. It does not keep me from being able to use my computer, and I am sure there is an order for the developers to repair such problems, that is, if it is not just peculiar for my computer, nonetheless, if it is a problem that the developers are not aware, that is the intention of my post. Also I would like those areas to function properly in due time.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, have a fix, or know how to report it as a bug, because if it is a bug, it does not give an error message or indication of error to make a report? thanks!

It's me again, with a workaround that doesn't always work but finally did in my computer, for those experiencing the same problem.

One feature I prefer is my 'Panel' hiding until I put my cursor on that edge of the screen. I have 3 screens and 2 of the 3 exhibited the symptoms in the above portion of my post. After unlocking the widgets, I selected the acorn>(I was unable to unlock the widgets by pressing and holding the cursor until it was over the item I wanted. When I then released the cursor, my choice took hold). I found that if I kept the cursor depressed and in the window that opened this would work on occasion to activate my choice when the cursor was place on it.

It did not work every time I tried this, but eventually I got what I wanted. This is not what I would call a fix, just a workaround that sometimes works.

I am concerned about aesthetics, not like a person with OCD, but have a similar problem caused by a lifetime of experience in artistic balance and harmony. I have been an artist for more than 60 years, so aesthetics that do not appeal to me cause me to be out-of-balance. That is the case of my panel. It currently has an opaque background while in K14.04 and earlier, the background was invisible. Invisible is what I prefer and works problem free for me, because of how I decorate my desktop. It was bad enough with the background being opaque, but the problem magnified when I could not get the panel to hide when not in use on 2 of my 3 screens, kind of like dragging your finger nails on a blackboard for me.

For those who may have my problem, this is something you can try for a temporary solution.
