Where are the 3D configuration capabilities found in Kubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit?

I have verified that my graphic card has all the 3D bells and whistles. I have attempted to load the appropriate drivers using the driver manager in system settings. They will not install.

I have several movies that require 3D acceleration.

My Video Card is a XFX R7850 double dissipation 2GB DDR5 Radeon
Processor: AMD 8-core @ 4.2Ghz
RAM: 32GB DDR3
OS: Kubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit

Is there a solution for my problem? Thanks!

Well, since I've never actually HAD a 3D card, I'm a poor one to reply, but there oughta be something in the repos,
