Trying to get Wireless to work and Now it will not boot

I am running Kubuntu 14.04 on a HP Widescreen Presario Cpmpaq A900. I have been trying to get the wireless to work. It worked in the past but now the Wireless emblem remains Orange. This morning when I tried to boot it up I get the following. ::
udevadm trigger is not permitted while udev is unconfigued.
udevadm stettle is not permitted while udev is unconfigured.
udevadm settle is not permitted while udev is unconfigured
Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
    - Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
    - Check rootdelay= (did system wait long enough?)
-Check root= (did system wait for the right device?)
    - Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT! /dev/disc/by-uudi/0b7b98d3-cc82-4b10-95a8 b1caf208b3b1 does not exist.
    Dropping to shell!

    BusyBox v1.21.1 (Ubuntu 1:1.21.0-1ubuntu1) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

    (initramfs)

None of the above means anything to me. I cannot give you any of the required info on distribution or KDE version or processor as I cannot boot further. Please help.
    Thank You.
