    Lost window

I had three windows on screen, after a while one window disappeared. Where did it go?

My first guess is that it crashed/closed.

My first guess is that Snowhog is right.
I'd rather be locked out than locked in.

If it does that often, running from the terminal may give a clue as I would expect to see apport if it had crashed?

If I told you that one of the icons on the taskbar is that of Ice Weasel would that give you a clue as to what distro it is? The desktop is the KDE3 fork called TDE or Trinity DE.

BTW, the window is still missing, I've been looking around for it everywhere still cannot find it.

Launch it from the terminal and if it crashes again you should get an error report.

On another note, I had no idea tde existed, I just thought it a pretty cool retro theme!

What do you mean "was it Debian", past tense. I think you mean "is it Debian".

Yes it is Debian, or rather EXE/GNU Linux which is Debian with Trinity stuff. http://exegnulinux.net/
