Greetings all. If an app is open, the app "indicator" in the taskbar has easy to see dark text. If the app is minimized, the same text is nearly transparent and difficult to read at a glance. Thought I found the fix but it was for the associated icon. Anyone having knowledge of darkening the text please feel free to join in. Everyone welcome regardless. Thanks.

Ya'll are rubbing off on me. Found it. If anyone needs the solution: System Settings>Desktop Effects>Advanced>General Options>keep window thumbnails>Always (Breaks minimization)>Apply
If you desire to colorize the associated icon, here you go. http://askubuntu.com/questions/26124...lack-and-whiteKubuntu 14.04 / KDE 4.13.3 / GRUB Version: 0.97-29ubuntu66

I'm glad you are discovering how configurable Kubuntu is. It's one of the things I really love about KDE ... if you don't like the look of something or just get bored with it you can change just about every aspect of the desktop to your liking.
One of the first things I do when I install Kubuntu is to replace the default task manager with the Icon Only Task Manager which I prefer. Then there is always the Cairo Dock which makes it look more like an Apple PC. I still prefer IOTM over the dock though.
Happy customizing!Desktop PC: Intel Core-i5-4670 3.40Ghz, 16Gb Crucial ram, Asus H97-Plus MB, 128Gb Crucial SSD + 2Tb Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 HDD running Kubuntu 18.04 LTS and Kubuntu 14.04 LTS (on SSD).
Laptop: HP EliteBook 8460p Core-i5-2540M, 4Gb ram, Transcend 120Gb SSD, currently running Deepin 15.8 and Manjaro KDE 18.

It's another desktop effect that makes you windows wobble when you move them. Use it for a while and then going to a PC without them feels really weird. You can find it under desktop effects. If you're sitting wondering,
Which Batman is the best,
There's only one true answer my friend,
It's Adam Bloody West!
